Today on One Life Radio, we welcomed Dr. Stephanie Gandy to talk about cats and get tips on caring for our furry friends. Dr. Gandy is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and the owner of Lonestar Feline Health Center in Dallas, TX. She graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, and her love of cats motivated her to focus her career exclusively on feline medicine and surgery. Dr. Gandy founded and still owns Catisfaction Cat Clinic and Catisfaction Nuclear (a radioactive iodine treatment center for feline hyperthyroidism) in Madison, AL. She was the first veterinarian to open a privately owned radioactive iodine treatment center for cats in the state of Alabama and has cured many cats of Hyperthyroidism since 2011. Next, Lisa M. Gennosa comes on the air to dive into her novel “Incurable Hope” and shares her story about her loved one and their addiction. Lisa lives with her husband in a small, rural town in eastern North Carolina where she is a practicing Physician Assistant.
