Paula Faris - Supporting Mothers at Home and at Work #1981

Today we are talking with Paula Faris about her new book, “You Don’t Have to Carry It All: Ditch the Mom Guilt and Find a Better Way Forward.” The book addresses the many challenges and stereotypes mothers face today, both at home and at work. Faris wrote the book for moms who are tired of the constant conflict between working and “momming”; and of feeling that they’re failing everyone, everywhere.  It also dives into facing the gender disparities in workplaces that treat mothers like risks instead of assets; and of dealing with the exhaustion of trying to carry it all.

Paula Faris is the founder and leader of CARRY Media™, an organization that champions, advocates, and celebrates working mothers through content, resources, and storytelling.   She is an Emmy Award–winning journalist, speaker, bestselling author of “Called Out,” and host of The Paula Faris Podcast.  She worked almost a decade at ABC News, where she co-anchored Good Morning America Weekend, co-hosted The View, and launched the podcast Journeys of Faith with Paula Faris. Learn more about Paula, and order her new book at PaulaFarisofficial.com.
